Day 1: Puno - Uros Island - Amantani

Start your journey with a pick-up and transfer to the main port, where you'll embark on a boat ride to the Uros Islands. These floating islands are home to fishermen and hunters, and are uniquely constructed from totora reeds, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. Learn the traditional art of weaving totora to build these remarkable islands.

Next, continue to Amantani Island, where a local family will greet you upon arrival and take you to their home. Enjoy a traditional lunch made with fresh, local ingredients. Afterward, visit the renowned pre-Inca temple of Pachatata, a sacred site offering stunning views of the lake. In the evening, hike to the island's peak at 4,130 meters, where you can marvel at a breathtaking sunset over Lake Titicaca. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the home of a local family on Amantani Island.
Day 2: Amantani - Taquile - Puno

After breakfast, head to Taquile Island, famous for its rich artisanal culture and exquisite handwoven textiles. Here, locals wear distinctive hats that indicate their marital status or social position. Explore ancient pre-Inca temples, tombs, and terraced fields, while learning about traditional farming methods and the island's customs. Please note that lunch is not included on this day. Afterward, we will return to Puno, concluding your unforgettable adventure.
