From puno full day tour

DETAILED ITINERARY:
06:45am to 07:15am Pick up from hotels located in downtown Puno to transfer to the port.

07:30 am - Arrival at the port and board the boat to start our boat trip to the first point of the islands which we will reach in an average of 30 minutes; on the way we can see part of Lake Titicaca.

Arriving at the island we will see a group of people dressed in their typical local costumes, who will give us a warm welcome. When we disembark from the boat we will notice how the islands are floating underwater; in the place we will settle down to listen to our tour guide who will give us detailed information on how the islands originated, materials used for its construction and how the people live in the place. After the explanation we will have time to take pictures and visit the houses of the villagers.

Optionally we can visit a second island in totora reed rafts (S /. 10.00 price of the ride) where you can taste a typical dish of the area or buy local crafts. We continue our way on a journey of 02 hours approx. by Lake Titicaca to reach the Natural Island where we will begin our walk uphill for 40 minutes approx. towards the main square of the island, visit the textile museum, its colonial church and others.

Then we will have lunch; our food consists of a quinoa soup as a starter and a main dish based on trout; as a drink it is traditional to drink coca or muña tea which are very good to avoid altitude sickness and stomach ache. Our tour guide will give us an explanation about the history of the island, clothing of the people and their main productions.

We will have free time to take pictures and then we will start the descent to the port to board the boat and start our way back to the main port of Puno.

05:30pm Arrival at the port of Puno and transfer to the city center. End of our service.
