This tour will take you to the Sanctuary of Fátima, famous for the apparitions of the Virgin Mary on May 13, 1917. You can wait at your hotel for your guide without having to go anywhere, making your day more comfortable and cheaper. When we can't arrive by car at the hotel we Pickup you at the more near point. After pickup at your hotel, we'll continue our journey. On arrival, you will be given a brief introduction and learn all about the history of Fátima and its Sanctuary, which has had a great impact and boost since Pope John Paul II. You can visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, as well as the Basilica or the latest church built in 2007 with modern architecture. You can choose to attend mass or place a candle and make a wish. There will also be time to visit a religious articles factory so that you can leave Fátima with a beautiful souvenir.
In the afternoon we will walk the route that the Shepherds took at the time when some of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary and the Angel took place, which today is known as the Way of the Cross.
We will also visit Valinhos, where the Little Shepherds' Houses are located. After an unforgettable visit, we'll return to Lisbon and finish at the city center.
