This is a PERSONAL, OWNER-LED experience with CHRISTOPHER, an experienced WESTMINSTER GUIDE who personally leads every walk. With a maximum of just 8 GUESTS, there’s time for CONVERSATION, QUESTIONS and PHOTOGRAPHS and those interesting diversions that simply aren’t possible in a large group.

See BUCKINGHAM PALACE, then walk along THE MALL towards ST JAMES’S PALACE and CLARENCE HOUSE. Continue through HORSE GUARDS PARADE and WHITEHALL to DOWNING STREET and the CENOTAPH, before reaching PARLIAMENT SQUARE, BIG BEN, THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT and WESTMINSTER ABBEY.

Along the way, Christopher uses carefully chosen IMAGES ON HIS iPAD to reveal connections that aren’t always obvious from what stands in front of you today. The walk lasts approximately 2 HOURS and finishes at WESTMINSTER ABBEY at around 8.30pm. Christopher is always happy to recommend nearby PUBS, RESTAURANTS and LOCAL FAVOURITES for dinner — leaving you perfectly placed to enjoy the rest of your first evening in London.

This walk always starts at 6.30pm and will be offered again in 2027 from 7 April to the end of September, when the longer evenings allow you to experience Royal London at its best.

April: The walk begins in daylight. Earlier in the month, sunset occurs during the walk; by later April, the walk takes place in daylight.

May–August: The walk takes place in daylight.

September: The walk begins in daylight or around dusk, depending on the date, with landmarks illuminated as darkness falls.
