It is at Skansen-Akvariet where the tropical, exotic and exciting animals live. This is where you can learn to understand and experience the animals with all your senses.
Here you will not only find fish and coral reefs, but also monkeys, lizards, snakes, spiders, crocodiles, parrots, turtles, scorpions, sloths and many others. Over the years, Skansen-Akvariet has become more of an ark than an aquarium. For over 40 years, we have expanded with new animals and new experiences. Walk through our cozy facility and view over 30 different species of animals. At Skansen-Akvariet you get close contact with animals and nature. However, no cuddling with baboons and cobras, of course.
Note: You need a separate entry ticket to Skansen to access the Skansen-Akvariet
On weekends and school holidays (according to Stockholms school holidays) you can pet a snake and a tarantula in our petting corner. On sunny days from May to September you can walk amongst our charming ring-tailed lemur inside their enclosure.

Enter the Skansen main entrance with your separate Skansen ticket. Once inside walk up the stairs and go to the right.
