Set off on a two-day adventure into the vibrant heart of Chiang Mai to uncover hidden waterfalls, interact with the Karen Hill Tribe, bond with rescued elephants, and take in the breathtaking scenery of the Mae Wang River. Support local communities while admiring the beauty of Thailand's landscapes.

After pickup from your hotel by van or traditional songthaew, take a short ride to a local market. Explore the stalls filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, and regional delicacies with your guide and immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the local culture.

After the market visit, embark on a 40-minute bamboo rafting adventure down the calm Mae Wang River, offering us a tranquil way to soak in the captivating landscapes of the region. We advise wearing long sleeves and long pants to protect against the sun and the mosquitos.

Following your bamboo rafting adventure, head towards the trek starting point. Hike through mixed forests and verdant paddy fields for about 2 hours to a tucked-away waterfall within the jungle. At this serene spot, enjoy a picnic lunch and the chance to cool off in the refreshing waters.

Post-lunch, continue uphill through the towering bamboo and evergreen forests for about 2 hours to the welcoming Karen Hill Tribe Village. Gain insights into their rich traditions and enjoy dinner made by the villagers. End the day with a campfire or a small party, making memories under the stars.

After spending the night at the Karen Hill Tribe Village, start the day with a hearty breakfast before resuming your forest trek. After 2 hours, reach the ethical elephant sanctuary, home to a group of rescued elephants. Feed, bathe, and learn about these creatures in a safe, respectful environment.

Cap off your unforgettable eco-adventure in the heart of Northern Thailand with a 1-hour drive back to your hotel in Chiang Mai. We will arrive back in Chiang Mai at around 4:30 pm.
