Celebrate New Year's Eve in Chiang Mai with a countdown festival. Release sky lanterns, enjoy a buffet dinner, watch cultural performances, and see a grand fireworks show at midnight.
Schedule:
17.30 Begin your evening by meeting at the Central Chiang Mai Airport (In front of Go WholeSale Parking lot) and taking a shuttle to the CAD Cultural Center Lanna. The shuttle leave every 5mins and the Last shuttle back up shuttle leave 20.00
Upon arrival at venue, show E-Ticket check-in and receive a physical hanging badge. Explore the CAD Village and Lanna Ancient Market, where you can enjoy finger food and snacks.
18.30 Dinning Area Open, Take part in various activities and games in the ceremony area. Then, sit down to a buffet dinner of authentic Lanna Thai cuisine and a variety of international dishes.
21.30 PAGODA ZONE open. Watch 2 Lanna shows performance, “Light of Faith, 730th Years Glory of Lanna” & "Lanna orchestra show".
23.30 As midnight approaches, prepare for the countdown with a light and sound show and release sky lanterns into the night sky. Afterthen enjoy a grand fireworks show.
After fire work show Get on the vehicle at CAD assemble point prepare transfer to Night Bazaar area Or Maya shopping mall. Or Central Chiang Mai Airport Select the drop off destination before get in the vehicle at the assembly point

1. GetYourGuide Booking voucher is not an entrance ticket for check-in. Please message us so that we can send your e-tickets link with QR code, which you can use to take the free shuttle and enter the venue.
2. If you are unable to arrive at the Departure area on Schedule time, please travel to CAD Venue at your own expense.
3. Bring a jacket with you at night time 12-15degree. As per to match the Thai Lanna style, white-colored clothes are suggested.
4. For your convenience, please follow the staff’s instructions and check the signs for your return transfer.
5. Children under 8 years old are ticket-free. They can have dinner with their parents, watch shows but no extra seat available. No additional lanterns or souvenirs are provided.
6. We provide booking services for tickets to the Chiang Mai CAD New Year Countdown. The specific travel services and operations will be provided by the organizer. The final interpretation of the event belongs to the organizer.
