Start your day with a visit to the Capuchin Convent in the village of Francavilla di Sicilia, famous for the internal production of essential oils. Continue to the beautiful Etna village of Castiglione di Sicilia. Walk through the streets, enjoy a small tasting of local cheeses, and visit the Lauria Castle which dominates the entire village of Castiglione with a spectacular view of Etna.

Next, visit a small farmhouse where you will have the opportunity to do a tasting of extra virgin olive oil accompanied by homemade bread. Continue with a tasting of ricotta, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional method of ricotta production which has been handed down from father to son for generations.
