The starting point is from the town of Lukovit and connects the rivers Zlatna Panega and Iskar. The trail is extremely picturesque and diverse. Beautiful nature, picturesque forms, canyons, caves, walks over the river, places for recreation. All components that guarantee a pleasant day.
The river Golden Panega was known by the ancient Thracians, Greeks and Romans. They believed that the power of Panacea, the daughter of the ancient Greek healing god Asclepius, is preserved in the river.
