Angkor Wat & Kulen Mountain Waterfall 2 Days Private Tour

Discover the temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom on a 2-day guided tour from Siem Reap. Visit Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, and Kulen Mountain National Park, and enjoy a sunset at Phnom Bakheng.
Day 1:

Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM. Head to Angkor Wat, the largest religious temple built in the 12th century. Spend a few hours exploring this iconic site before continuing to the next temples on the Small Circle, such as Ta Prohm, famous for its gigantic tree roots and its appearance in the movie "Tomb Raider."

After a busy morning, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, head to Ta Nei and the city of Angkor Thom, starting from the Victory or Death Gate. Continue to the center of Angkor Thom to see Bayon, with its 49 towers, each featuring 4 smiling faces.

Keep walking to the Hindu Baphoun Temple nearby. Behind this temple, see a big reclining Buddha. Continue walking to the Royal Enclosure Wall, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, and Palilay. Finish the day by watching the sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill before returning to your hotel between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Day 2:

Start at 5:00 AM to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After sunrise, return to your hotel for breakfast or enjoy breakfast at a nearby restaurant. After breakfast, head to Kulen Mountain National Park, about 65 km from Siem Reap city.

Visit the mountain top to see 1000 Lingas carved under the riverbed, a symbol of the God Shiva’s supreme essence. Continue to visit the Big Reclining Buddha, built from a natural giant rock called Prah Ang Thom, and then see the waterfall. If you wish, take a swim in the beautiful waterfall.

After a busy morning, break for lunch at a local restaurant nearby. After lunch, visit Banteay Srei Temple, also known as the Ladies Temple, built from pink sandstone and dedicated to the trinity Gods in Hinduism, mainly Shiva.

Continue to the Hindu Banteay Samre, Pre Rup, and the last temple of the day, Banteay Kdei. End the day by returning to your hotel between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
