Beschreibung
Skip the crowded shores. Your bilingual guide and captain bring you to the heart of the St. Lawrence for a front-row seat to Quebec's legendary fireworks — aboard a 10-passenger Zodiac. Unforgettable.
The best seat in Quebec City — and it's on the water
Every summer, Quebec City lights up the night sky with the Grands Feux Loto-Québec, one of the most celebrated fireworks competitions in the world. Thousands of spectators crowd the shores, the Plains of Abraham, and the terraces of Old Quebec to watch the show.
You won't be among them.
Departing from the Yacht Club de Québec, founded in 1861, this intimate evening excursion takes you somewhere far better — right onto the St. Lawrence River, at water level, directly beneath the fireworks as they explode overhead. No crowd. No obstructed view. Just open sky, open water, and one of the most breathtaking spectacles you will ever witness.
A guided night adventure on one of the world's great rivers
This is not just a fireworks viewing — it is a guided night navigation on the mighty St. Lawrence, one of the most powerful and complex waterways in North America. As your captain navigates toward the perfect position on the river, your bilingual guide brings the evening to life — sharing the history of the Grands Feux, the story of Quebec City illuminated against the night sky, and the secrets of navigating these legendary tidal waters after dark.
The combination of an expert captain and a passionate bilingual guide ensures that every moment of this excursion — from departure to the final burst of colour overhead — is both safe and deeply memorable.
Your front-row seat
When the show begins, your captain has already positioned the Orca at the ideal vantage point on the river while your bilingual guide sets the scene — describing what you are about to witness and why this view, from the water, looking up at the fireworks reflected in the St. Lawrence with the illuminated skyline of Old Quebec behind them, is unlike anything visible from shore.
With only 10 passengers on board, the atmosphere is intimate and electric. There are no strangers in a crowd here — just a small group sharing a genuinely extraordinary moment together.
