Rovaniemi: Aurora Hunting Photography Tour(98% Success Rate)

Embark on a captivating night—capture the Northern Lights with expert guidance, then relish an authentic Lappish barbecue beneath the Arctic sky, creating memories to last a lifetime.
We can't guarantee that guests will see the Aurora, as it is a natural phenomenon!!!! Even under clear skies, the Aurora may be faint or not visible to the naked eye due to low solar activity!!!! However, cameras can often capture it more effectively than the human eye.

We will do our best to help you see the Aurora. If the weather is unfavorable on your tour day, we’ll try to reschedule or cancel the tour, if possible, to improve your chances of seeing the Aurora and ensure you have the best opportunity to experience it!!!!
If the tour is canceled, or the rescheduled time does not fit your travel itinerary, you will be entitled to a full refund!!!!

Depending on the weather, we may visit one or several different locations!!!! For example, if we move too often under clear skies and the aurora appears, we might not find a place to stop the car and take photos. In that situation, we prefer to stay in one place for a longer time to ensure that customers don’t miss the aurora!!!!

Sometimes we have two to four groups from our company going out together. Each group has its own guide, and the guides may work as a team to ensure a higher success rate. Please stay with your own guide, as he or she will be responsible for taking care of you!!!!

We may provide a barbecue during the tour if the time is allowed, but it is not meant to be a full dinner!!!! The timing of the barbecue may also vary and could be quite late. Therefore, we recommend that guests have a proper dinner before the activity and simply save a little room for the barbecue!!!!

2. Scenic Northern Lights Tour:
We will take you to the best vantage points for an unforgettable Northern Lights viewing experience. The tour usually lasts 4-6 hours, but depending on weather conditions, we may need to drive further from Rovaniemi in search of clear skies—an essential factor for seeing the Aurora Borealis. This could extend the tour duration and require additional time in the van. Our goal is to take the best aurora hunting memories to the customers.

3. Photography and Lappish Barbecue Experience (depend on the weather situation, sometimes we don't have time to BBQ if we need to drive far away):
Capture unforgettable moments during our photography session, guided by our experienced tour guide. Take as many pictures as you like with the help of our guide. Savor a traditional Lappish barbecue by an open fire, featuring sausages, a warm beverage, and traditional Finnish snacks. We will deliver the photos to you by 18:00 the following day.
