On this tour, we will explore the life and work of Claude Monet. You will visit a museum showcasing a group of artists who shared similar approaches and techniques, shaping the Impressionist movement.

We will discuss the artistic revolution that began in the late 1800s, with Monet as a leading figure. His distinctive short brushstrokes and fragmented application of color influenced many other artists. You will also experience the charm of Paris' 16th arrondissement and visit Monet’s enchanting house and garden in Giverny.

The Musée Marmottan Monet, located in the 16th arrondissement, houses one of the largest Impressionist collections in Paris. It features 100 of Monet’s masterpieces—from Impression, Sunrise to his Water Lilies series—along with works from his personal collection, including pieces by Gauguin, Guillaumin, Renoir, Sisley, and Degas. The museum also showcases several paintings, pastels, and watercolors by Berthe Morisot, the "Grand Dame" of Impressionism.

The famous water lily ponds and vibrant gardens at Monet’s home in Giverny, near Paris and Rouen, served as his greatest artistic inspiration and have made this picturesque village along the Seine renowned worldwide.
