On this e-bike tour, we'll cruise together through the real life of Munich – laid-back, green, urban, and sometimes a bit rough around the edges. In the process, we'll also debunk the cliché that Munich is nothing but prim and posh.
This is not an intense road bike tour, nor is it a tightly scheduled sightseeing marathon. Thanks to our e-bikes, we can enjoy the route at a leisurely pace, with time for breaks, beautiful views, and relaxed conversations about the city, its neighborhoods, and its contrasts – and about why Munich is so much more than lederhosen and the Hofbräuhaus.
We'll start where Munich comes together, ride past well-known spots like the Eisbachwelle, and delve deep into the vastness of the English Garden. From there, we'll continue at a leisurely pace through some of the city's most beautiful green spaces.
Afterward, we'll ride through neighborhoods you won't find on every postcard – from the Schlachthofviertel district down to the River Isar. Along the way, I'll show you my Munich: places where people live, breathe, swim, cycle, and chat.
On our e-bikes, we'll discover the city in a truly relaxed way: from the English Garden through Olympic Park, along the Nymphenburg Canal to Nymphenburg Palace, past Theresienwiese, and on through the Isarauen – following old paths and gaining new perspectives.
At the end, you won't just be taking home beautiful photos, you'll also feel like you've truly experienced Munich.

WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN
The tour runs in most weather conditions; please bring appropriate clothing. The route is about 30 kilometers long and is ridden at a relaxed pace, but a normal basic level of fitness is required. We will not only be riding in parks, but also in Munich's city traffic, so safe cycling is a prerequisite. A helmet is recommended but not mandatory. Please bring your own drinks and small snacks. Participation is at your own risk, and German traffic rules apply. Due to its length, duration, and route, the tour is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
Free cancellation is available 24 hours before the tour starts. No refunds are available for later cancellations or no-shows.
In the event of extreme weather conditions or for safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel or modify the tour. In this case, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund will be issued.
We will meet right in front of the JGH Youth Hostel, at the entrance to the underground parking garage.
