Continue with a panoramic drive through Mandraki Harbor and up to Monte Smith, where you’ll stop to admire breathtaking views and capture memorable photos of Rhodes Town and the Aegean Sea.
Next, step back in time at the ancient city of Kameiros, one of the three original cities of Rhodes. Wander among the remains of houses with atriums, temples, altars, and public buildings in what is often called the “Pompeii of Rhodes.”
The tour continues inland to the charming mountain village of Apollona. Here, visit a traditional shop to taste the local spirit Souma and enjoy wine tasting at a family traditional local shop. Then, have free time for lunch at a traditional Greek taverna, where you can sample delicious local meze (lunch not included).
After lunch, relax during a scenic drive to Profitis Ilias, famous for its alpine-style hotels from the Italian era and panoramic mountain views. Enjoy a coffee break and photo stop surrounded by pine forests.
Before returning, make a short visit to Fountoukli Monastery, one of the most important monasteries on the island.
