Jakarta: Java to Bali Train Tour with Hotels

Day 1 – Jakarta
On arrival in the Indonesian capital, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2- Jakarta City Tour
Meet your knowledgeable guide for an in-depth journey into Jakarta's history and evolution. Enjoy a private
transfer into the heart of the city to learn of its fascinating seafaring roots, discovering the old town of Batavia
along the way.

Day 3 – Jakarta to Yogyakarta by train
After breakfast meet your guide for a transfer to Jakarta’s modern Gambir station. Board an express train for Yogyakarta.

Day 4 - Yogyakarta, Sultan Palace, Batik Courses and Prambanan
Discover Yogyakarta’s rich heritage with a visit to the Sultan Palace (Keraton), experience a hands-on traditional batik course, and explore the magnificent Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. A perfect blend of culture, art, and history in one enriching tour.

Day 5 - Candirejo Village and Borobudur
Experience local village life at Candirejo Village with a relaxing horse riding tour through traditional villages and scenic countryside, followed by a visit to the iconic Borobudur Temple. A perfect combination of culture, nature, and authentic local experiences.

Day 6 - Yogyakarta to Surabaya by train and continue to Probolinggo
As our train leaves at just before 7am, we will have an early breakfast, followed by a transfer to Yogyakarta
Railway Station. Board the train for a scenic 4 hour ride to Surabaya in East Java from where will continue by road, with a stop along the way for lunch (not included and payable locally), to the Highest Village Sukapura (Probolinggo).

Day 7 – Mount Bromo Sunrise and continue to Kalibaru
Witness a breathtaking sunrise at Kingkong Hill, Visit Creater Mount Bromo, then continue your journey by train to Kalibaru, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. A seamless blend of nature and authentic travel experience.

Day 8- Kalibaru to Ijen
Kalibaru is known locally for producing excellent nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, cocoa, coffee, and coconuts.
Visting the plantations we learn how each crop is grown and harvested, along with a demonstration of how
palm sugar is processed, a staple ingredient in this part of the world. Later we continue about 2 hours by road
to Ijen, where will stay before visiting the active crater of Kawah Ijen volcano the next morning.

Day 9 - Ijen Blue Fire – Ketapang Harbor – Ferry to Bali (Tour Ends)
Witness the magical blue fire at Ijen Crater, then continue to Ketapang Harbor and cross by ferry to Bali. The tour concludes upon arrival in Bali.
