Begin your day by meeting your guide at Sapporo Station. Board the bus and head to the Otaru Asarigawa Ski Resort, a popular ski destination in Hokkaido. Facing the Sea of Japan, it is one of Hokkaido’s rare ocean-view ski resorts. While gliding down the slopes, be greeted by the vast deep-blue coastline, delivering a stunning and romantic view that you will never forget.

Once you arrive, collect your ski equipment and get ready for your lesson. Meet your instructor and begin your 2-hour lesson. Your instructor will adjust teaching methods according to each participant’s age, skiing experience, physical fitness, and learning goals. The basic lesson covers ski-equipment guidance, ski-pass, lift-ticket, and fundamental skiing techniques.

After your lesson, take a break for lunch at the on-site restaurant (at your own expense). Choose from a wide range of freshly-cooked hot meals with rich flavors to warm you up after skiing. Crispy fried chicken, pork cutlet curry rice, hot ramen, and other dishes are popular with both adults and children, perfect for replenishing your energy.

After lunch, enjoy 2 hours of free skiing time. At the end of the day, return your equipment and board the bus back to Sapporo Station.

Important Notes
‑ Helmets must be worn for the entire duration of the lesson. For first‑time skiers, we strongly recommend wearing additional protective gear including knee pads, hip protectors, wrist guards and elbow pads.
‑ Under your ski jacket and ski trousers, please wear breathable, warm and flexible base‑layers and ski socks. Jeans are not recommended.
‑ If the ski resort is closed on your lesson day and skiing cannot proceed, we will contact you to reschedule your lesson date or arrange a refund, and offer our best support for your subsequent travel plans.
‑ The instructor will make a comprehensive assessment based on the actual lesson progress on the day to decide whether you are eligible to take the ski‑lift for skiing activities. Thank you for your understanding. Please keep an eye on your own physical condition.
