Day 1: Sapporo – Kyogoku – Lake Toya – Hakodate
Depart from Sapporo at 9:30 AM and begin your 2-day journey through southern Hokkaido in a spacious and comfortable licensed charter vehicle, such as a Toyota Alphard or Hiace.
Your first stop is Kyogoku Fukidashi Park, known for its crystal-clear spring water flowing from Mt. Yotei. Take a relaxing walk through the peaceful natural surroundings and taste the fresh spring water directly from the source.
Continue to Lake Toya, surrounded by mountains and beautiful natural scenery. Enjoy panoramic views of the lake and Nakajima Island, take photos along the lakeside, and have lunch at a local restaurant in the Lake Toya area. Lunch is at your own expense.
In the afternoon, travel south to Hakodate and explore the historic Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse and waterfront area. Stroll through the harbor, browse local shops, and enjoy the atmosphere of this charming port city.
As evening approaches, choose a restaurant around Hakodate Bay and enjoy dinner at your own pace while taking in the relaxed waterfront atmosphere. Dinner is at your own expense.
After dinner, head to Mt. Hakodate to experience the city's famous panoramic night view. Afterwards, check in to your hotel in Hakodate and relax for the night.
Day 2: Hakodate – Sapporo
Start your morning with a buffet breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore more of Hakodate.
Visit the lively Hakodate Morning Market, where you can browse stalls filled with fresh seafood and local Hokkaido specialties.
Continue to the historic Motomachi area and visit the Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward, an elegant Western-style building that reflects Hakodate's unique international history and architecture.
For lunch, stop at Lucky Pierrot, Hakodate's beloved local burger chain. Try its signature Chinese Chicken Burger and experience a true local favorite. Lunch is at your own expense.
In the afternoon, visit Goryokaku Park and Goryokaku Tower, famous for the distinctive star-shaped fort. Enjoy time to explore the park and take in panoramic views of Goryokaku and Hakodate from above.
After sightseeing, depart Hakodate and relax on the journey back to Sapporo in your comfortable charter vehicle, with a rest stop along the way. Arrival at Odori Station Exit 31, next to Sapporo TV Tower, is expected at approximately 6:40 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
