Day 1: Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your beach resort or residence in Diani. Depart for Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa–Nairobi highway, enjoying scenic views of the Kenyan countryside as you journey towards one of Africa's largest and oldest wildlife parks. Tsavo East is renowned for its vast open plains, red-soil landscapes, and large herds of the famous red elephants.
Upon arrival through Bachuma Gate, embark on your first game drive en route to the lodge. The park is home to an impressive variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Keep your camera ready as your experienced safari guide helps you track wildlife across the expansive savannah.
Arrive at your selected lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. After lunch, relax and enjoy the beautiful wilderness surroundings before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore different sections of the park in search of more wildlife and visit some of Tsavo East's famous attractions, including the Galana River ecosystem and scenic viewpoints overlooking the vast plains.
As the sun sets over the African wilderness, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Spend the evening enjoying the sounds of the bush and watching wildlife visit nearby waterholes.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park to Diani
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators and other wildlife as they become active before the heat of the day. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the savannah while searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Tsavo East offers some of the most rewarding wildlife viewing experiences in Kenya.
Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. Thereafter, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park, providing one last opportunity to capture memorable wildlife sightings and stunning landscapes.
Exit the park and commence your journey back to the coast, arriving in Diani in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at your beach resort or residence, marking the end of an unforgettable Tsavo East safari experience.
