Discover Corcovado on a full-day, small-group adventure from Uvita. Travel by boat, hike with a certified naturalist guide, and enjoy an organized experience with permits, safety, and lunch included.
You need to be at 6.30 am to our operation center located at the main road to Uvita beach . Our office is located next to the elementary school “ La Flor de Bahia “and next to Tatiana supermarket.
This tour departs by boat from Punta Uvita beach at 7:00 AM,and arrives approximately 1.5 hours later to San Pedrillo Ranger Station in Corcovado National Park. A safety talk and a review of the itinerary will be held in the operation before departing. Also there will be access to a coffee station (Coffee, Tea, fruit, toast, natural juice). As soon as the boat arrives at Corcovado the guide will lead the group to the ranger station where there will be a time to get ready for the hike. At the ranger station there are facilities like toilets and showers. The trails at San Pedrillo station are flat and easy for all types of people; however the tropical forest is warm during the dry season ( December to April ) and rainy from May to November.
The first hike takes place in one of the most extensive trails of this sector of Corcovado with a duration of approximately 1.5-2 hours. The path is totally flat and crosses primary forest as well as income towards the beach where the guides will show very interesting coastal vegetation .Along the trail is possible to observe birds, mammals and reptiles . You can also appreciate huge trees and plants of great biological value .Then you will return to the ranger station to enjoy an outdoor lunch to recharge energy and be prepared for a second hike.The second trail is shorter with a bit of broken ground and an approximately duration of 1 hour . During the dry season ( Mid December to April )we visit a small river where it is possible to cool off and even receive a massage from nature.The second hike is subject to weather; especially during the rainy season but at the park the tour guides will decide if we do another trail or the first walk will be a long walk before lunch so we can adjust the itinerary if weather changes. The boat started heading back to Uvita beach at 2.00 pm and expected to arrive around 3.30 to 4.00 pm.
During boat transit from Uvita beach to Corcovado National Park you may observe whales, dolphins, turtles, marine birds and fantastic views of the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica.

This tour operates with a minimum of 6 participants. In case the minimum is not reached, you will be contacted to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Boarding is done directly from the beach, so participants should be prepared to get their feet wet. Closed-toe hiking shoes are required for the guided walk.

The meeting point is at our Bahía Aventuras offices, located in Bahía Ballena, Uvita. We are 50 meters east of the Flor de Bahía School, diagonally across from Supermarket.
Your guide will be waiting for you at the location, easily identifiable by a Bahía Aventuras uniform, and ready to assist you with check-in and answer any questions before the activity begins.
