Immerse yourself in the Amazon Rainforest on a 6-day kayak expedition into Igarapé do Ubim and Amanã Lake. Paddle through remote blackwater creeks, flooded várzea forest, and hidden lagoons. Camp under star-filled skies and connect with riverine communities.

Day 1 — Arrival & Transfer to Ubim
Meet in Tefé (airport/port). Briefing, gear check and safety orientation.

Speedboat transfer across Tefé Lake, the Solimões and Japurá rivers to the Ubim community (4–6 hours, depending on water).

Arrive at community base: final kayak setup, welcome dinner and overnight at the community base or nearby riverside camp.

Day 2 - Launch & First Jungle Camp
7:00 — Breakfast and launch briefing.

8:00 — Launch kayaks into the igarapés; paddle narrow channels and flooded forest, watching for birds and monkeys.

Midday — Riverside lunch and rest.

Afternoon — Continue paddling to a remote campsite. Camp setup, dinner and overnight in hammocks/mosquito nets.

Day 3 - Deep Creek Exploration
6:00 — Optional sunrise paddle for bird activity.

– 7:00 — Breakfast.

– 8:00 — Full day paddling deeper into Ubim Creek: winding channels, lagoons and flooded forest.

Midday — Picnic lunch on the bank; optional swim in calm pools (season permitting).

Late afternoon — Reach next campsite; dinner and night wildlife sounds.

Day 4 - Jungle Hike & Cultural Contact
7:00 — Breakfast.

Morning — Guided jungle hike to learn about medicinal plants, animal tracks and local ecology.

Return to camp for lunch.

Afternoon — Paddle to a nearby riverine community for a cultural visit (when possible): meet locals, learn about traditional life and regional foods.

Evening — Night boat outing for caiman and nocturnal wildlife spotting; overnight at camp.

Day 5 — Upper Ubim Challenge & Fishing
7:00 — Breakfast.

8:00 — Continue paddling upstream toward the upper reaches of the Ubim creek—more remote channels and scenic sections.

Midday — Lunch on the riverbank.

Afternoon — Fishing opportunity and practice primitive camp cooking with catch (when available).

Evening — Final remote campsite, campfire, dinner and stargazing.

Day 6 -Return Paddle & Transfer to Tefé
7:00 — Breakfast and strike camp.

8:00 — Paddle back toward Ubim village with short stops for wildlife viewing.

Midday — Lunch at Ubim village and brief cultural exchange.

13:00 — Speedboat transfer back to Tefé port. Drop-off at port or airport; trip concludes.
