TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY (CIRCUIT 4 + HUCHUY PICCHU)

The Machu Picchu tour (circuit 4 + Huchuy Picchu) offers travelers a unique and deeply enriching experience. From the imposing summit of Huchuy Picchu, you will witness panoramic views that will leave you breathless. You will enjoy the majesty of the Machu Picchu citadel, the imposing mountains that surround it and the meandering Urubamba River, all from a unique and completely photogenic perspective.


ITINERARY:
In the morning, the transportation will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs and will take you to the Ollantaytambo train station (car trip of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes).
Once at the Ollantaytambo train station at 06:10 hrs you will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) on the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers and streams, you will also be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco.
When you arrive at Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff will be waiting for you to give you all the instructions and will take you to the bus station, where you will board the bus that takes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic Machu Picchu citadel (trip of 30 minutes by consettur bus).
When you get off the bus together with the guide you will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you must present your Machu Picchu ticket (Circuit 4 + Huchuy Picchu) and respective identification documents, from this place you will begin the guided excursion in the citadel of Machu Picchu , you will visit the sites of the Machu Picchu citadel with the guide who will provide you with all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, you will visit the citadel and places such as: Las Qolqas. The Agricultural Zone, Water Canal, Temple of the Sun Complex, Inka House Complex, Water Fountains, Sacred Rock, Water Mirrors Complex, Plaza del Pisonay, Agricultural Reserve, among others. On the tour you will reach the Huchuy Picchu mountain where you will cross less explored areas of Machu Picchu, and you will gain a deeper knowledge of Inca engineering and worldview.

At the appropriate time you must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the thermomedicinal baths that are located north of the town (entrance not included).
At the agreed time you will take the return train from Aguas Calientes, a 2-hour trip to Ollantaytambo, where the agency staff will be waiting for you to transport you to your hotel of Cusco.

NOTE: In this circuit 4, you will explore the lower part of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and when doing this circuit you will not have the classic image of Machu Picchu.
Additionally, the photos you will capture from Huchuy Picchu will give you a unique and different perspective of this iconic place. You will observe Machu Picchu from one angle.
