Discover the colorful world of ceramics during a creative painting and glazing workshop at The Mucha Pottery Studio in Warsaw.
Start by choosing your ceramic piece – a ready-made bisque mug or plate – and turn it into something completely your own. Whether you already have a design in mind or prefer to experiment with colors and patterns, your instructor will help you bring your idea to life.
Before you begin, learn the basics of working with ceramic glazes. Your instructor will explain how to apply them correctly, how colors change during firing, how different glazes can be combined, and what techniques you can use to achieve different decorative effects. No previous ceramic or painting experience is required.
Then comes the hardest part: choosing your colors. The Mucha Pottery Studio has a collection of more than 500 ceramic glazes, giving you an enormous range of colors, textures and finishes to work with. Experiment, combine colors and create a mug or plate that is truly one of a kind.
Spend approximately 2 hours decorating your ceramic piece at your own pace, with guidance and help available whenever you need it. The workshop is held in a small group of up to 8 participants, allowing for individual support while maintaining a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Coffee and tea are available during the workshop, so settle in, get creative and enjoy some time away from the usual sightseeing.
When your design is finished, leave your ceramic piece at the studio. The team will take care of the final high-temperature firing, which transforms the glazes and reveals their final colors and finish.
Your finished mug or plate will be ready for collection from The Mucha Pottery Studio approximately 1.5–2 weeks after the workshop.
Come with an idea or without one – the goal is to experiment, enjoy the process and create a functional ceramic piece that is uniquely yours.

Your ceramic piece cannot be taken home immediately after the workshop. It requires final high-temperature firing and will be ready approximately 1.5–2 weeks later.
You can collect your finished piece from the studio or have it shipped to you for an additional fee. International shipping is available.
