Discover the history of the Troubles on a walking tour of Belfast in Italian and English. See the murals and commemorative installations that dot the area and learn about the conflict from your guide.
Begin your tour at Divis Street (Lower Falls Road, in the Catholic area) and the Divis Tower. Discover the main characters and events of the Troubles. Head down the Falls Road, visiting the International Wall, the Garden of Remembrance, and the H-Block Memorial.
From there, move towards the Bobby Sands Mural. According to your wish, there is the chance to visit the Milltown Cemetery and the Irish Republican History Museum at Conway Mill.
Next, take a walk along the Peace Wall that separates the Falls Road from the Shankill Road (predominantly Protestant). Stop at Frizzell's Fish Shop, the site of a bomb explosion at the end of the Troubles, before continuing on to the Shankill Memorial Park. Pass by the former Bayardo pub, another site of an attack back in 1975.
Finally, walk back to the meeting point.
