Beschreibung

Escape Edinburgh on a 2-day Highlands adventure through Glencoe, Glenfinnan and Oban, travelling with like-minded adventurers, local Scottish guides and unforgettable scenery.
Leave Edinburgh behind and meet your local Scottish guide and fellow travellers at Castle Rock Hostel before setting off on an unforgettable two-day Highland adventure. Grab a coffee, settle into the bus and watch the city fade into rolling countryside as you cross the iconic Forth Bridges.

Your first stop is the historic town of Callander, the gateway to the Highlands, before heading into some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery. As mountains begin to rise around you, arrive at the dramatic valley of Glencoe, where towering peaks, waterfalls and haunting landscapes provide one of the country's most breathtaking locations. Your guide shares the powerful stories of the infamous Glencoe Massacre while you explore this unforgettable place.

Continue across the wild beauty of Rannoch Moor before stopping beneath the mighty Glenfinnan Viaduct. Made famous by the Harry Potter films, it's one of Scotland's most iconic landmarks. Depending on the season, you may even catch the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the viaduct before taking in views over Loch Shiel and the Glenfinnan Monument.

Later, travel along Scotland's stunning west coast to the colourful harbour town of Oban, where you'll spend the night. Often known as the "Gateway to the Isles," Oban is the perfect place to explore waterfront streets, sample fresh seafood, climb to McCaig's Tower for panoramic views or simply enjoy an evening with your new travel friends in one of the town's welcoming pubs.

After breakfast, continue your Highland adventure with a visit to Kilmahog, where you'll meet Scotland's famous Highland cows. Get up close, snap some photos and even feed these gentle giants before continuing deeper into Perthshire.

Your final stop is the picturesque village of Dunkeld, where you can wander its historic streets, visit the beautiful cathedral beside the River Tay or relax with a coffee before beginning the journey back to Edinburgh.

Return to the capital in the evening with incredible photos, unforgettable memories and a bus full of new friends after experiencing some of Scotland's most iconic landscapes in just two days.
