Scotland is famously unpredictable — you might experience sunshine, mist, and rain all in one day. Bring layers, waterproof shoes, and don’t worry if it’s cloudy — moody skies make for stunning photos!
2. Timing Is Key
Golden hour (shortly after sunrise or before sunset) offers the most flattering light. Early mornings in Edinburgh are also quieter — perfect for clean shots without crowds.
3. Stay Flexible
We keep an eye on weather forecasts and may suggest slight timing or location changes to ensure the best conditions for your shoot.
4. Be Yourself
You don’t need to “pose” — we’ll guide you naturally so your photos feel relaxed and real. Just enjoy the moment.
5. Bring the Essentials
Snacks, water, comfortable walking shoes, and any personal items (like scarves or accessories) you'd love featured in your photos.
6. Pets Welcome!
Let us know if you're bringing a furry friend so we can plan accordingly.
Meeting point will be The Balmoral Hotel near Waverley Station. From there will make our way to the most stunning photography locations in Edinburgh.

- Accommodation & Travel Costs
- Your lodging, meals, and travel expenses are not covered in the photography fee.
- Hair, Makeup, or Styling Services
- These are not included, but we can recommend local professionals upon request.
- Permits & Location Fees (if applicable)
- If a location requires a photography permit or special access fee (e.g. castles, estates), it is the client’s responsibility to cover it.
- Raw/Unedited Files
- We do not provide unedited or RAW images; all delivered photos are professionally edited in our signature style.
- Prints or Albums
- Photography packages include digital delivery only. Prints, albums, or framed photos can be ordered separately.
- Drone Photography (unless requested in advance)
- Drone services may be available for certain locations but are not standard and may require additional booking and fees.
