Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Begin your safari with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After meeting your professional safari guide, travel to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
Explore the park’s beautiful landscapes, baobab trees, and wildlife-rich river areas. Tarangire is especially famous for its impressive elephant population, although you may also encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and many bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, drive to your selected lodge or camp near Karatu or Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy magnificent views along the way before entering the Serengeti’s vast open plains.
Upon arrival, begin an afternoon game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of grazing animals. Your guide will take you through productive wildlife areas while sharing valuable information about the animals and ecosystem.
Later, continue to your lodge or tented camp inside or near the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drive – Return to Arusha
Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Morning hours often provide excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities, as predators remain active and many animals gather across the plains.
After the game drive, begin the return journey to Arusha, enjoying scenic views through the Ngorongoro highlands and surrounding countryside. A packed lunch will be provided during the journey. Arrive in Arusha in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your memorable 3-day safari.
