Lucerne

Lucerne is a compact Swiss city known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, nestled in the snow-capped mountains of Lake Lucerne. Its colourful Altstadt (Old Town) is bordered to the north by the 14th-century walled 870m Museggmauer (Musegg Wall). The covered Kapellbrücke (Church Bridge) was built in 1333 to connect Aldstadt with the right bank of the Reuss.
