Day 1: Jvari Monastery, Mtskheta, and Svetitskhoveli

Begin your adventure at the clifftop where Saint Nino erected the first cross in the 4th century. Enjoy the iconic view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers.

Next, visit the ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta. In the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, see unique frescoes and learn the history of the Holy Robe, which is buried in the church's foundations.

Day 2: High-Altitude Lakes and the Pink City

From the "Armenian Switzerland" to Yerevan panoramas, visit medieval Armenian architecture from the 10th century at Haghpat. Then, head to Sanahin, where philosophy, medicine, and calligraphy were studied. See unique khachkars (cross-stones) and the massive vaults of libraries.

Take a morning stroll through Dilijan, surrounded by the dense forests of a national park. Stop at the monument to the heroes of the film "Mimino" and breathe in the pure mountain air.

Climb the steps to the Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula. The vast expanse of the largest lake in the Caucasus opens before you. Learn the legends about the origin of its name and see a unique khachkar made of green stone.

Arrive in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. See a monumental complex of pink tuff, famous government buildings, and singing fountains. Conclude the tour with a walk to the Cascade, which offers the best views of Mount Ararat, and along Northern Avenue.
