Travel south through the scenic Ararat Plain toward the famous wine region of Areni, known for its ancient winemaking traditions. Visit a local winery where you will learn about Armenian wine production and enjoy a tasting of several regional varieties.
Continue toward the beautiful Shaki Waterfall, one of the most impressive natural attractions in southern Armenia. The waterfall drops dramatically from basalt cliffs and is surrounded by green landscapes and fresh mountain air.
After a short break, the journey continues to the historic Tatev Monastery, one of Armenia’s most important medieval religious sites. Located on the edge of the deep Vorotan Gorge, the monastery offers spectacular panoramic views and a fascinating insight into Armenian history and architecture.
