Based in Hobart | 2 Days of Exceptional Walking & Coastal Scenery

Wineglass Bay - One of the world's Top 10 most beautiful beaches

Cape Hauy - Dramatic sea cliffs, towering dolerite columns, and jaw-dropping coastal views

DAY 1: Cape Hauy – Tasman Peninsula

Take on Cape Hauy (sounds like "Hoy," rhymes with boy), a dramatic section of Tasmania's iconic Three Capes Track. This epic coastal walk delivers serious wow-factor with towering sea cliffs, wild ocean views, and yes... plenty of stairs!

After an early departure from Hobart, we arrive at Fortescue Bay in Tasman National Park. The 9.4km return hike (approximately 4 hours) winds through forest, woodland, and coastal heath before opening to spectacular cliff-top views. The well-maintained track leads to the famous Cape Hauy lookout, where the "Candlestick" and "Totem Pole" sea stacks rise more than 100m from the crashing Tasman Sea below. After the hike, cool off with a swim at Fortescue Bay or relax in the peaceful surroundings. On the return to Hobart, we stop at Bangor Vineyard Shed overlooking Boomer Bay - the perfect spot to reward your efforts with a glass of wine, a tasting, or a bite to eat. Return to Hobart around 5:00pm. Overnight: Hobart. Accommodation by your own arrangement.

DAY 2: Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park

Departing Hobart, we head north along the stunning East Coast, passing through charming seaside towns with sweeping views of Maria Island and Great Oyster Bay. Our destination: Freycinet National Park, one of Tasmania's oldest and most celebrated parks, where pink granite mountains meet crystal-clear bays and pristine white beaches. Your adventure begins with a moderate 45-minute uphill walk to the iconic Wineglass Bay Lookout. The reward? A jaw-dropping panoramic view of the famous crescent beach - white sand, turquoise water, and that perfect wineglass curve. Continue down to Wineglass Bay Beach. Enjoy lunch with your toes in the sand, take a refreshing swim, or simply soak up the serenity. Once rested and ready, the return hike takes you back up the stairs, up and over and back to the start of the track.
After our bucket-list walk, we stop at the award-winning Devil's Corner Cellar Door. Perched above East Coast vineyards with spectacular views to the Freycinet Peninsula, it's the perfect place to unwind with premium Tasmanian wine and fresh local fare before returning to Hobart around 6:00pm.
