Description

Enjoy 3 glorious days discovering the scenery, food, and wine of Margaret River with a dedicated tour guide. Travel from Perth in a comfortable bus.
Begin day one by making a scenic drive from Perth to some charming seaside towns. First stop is Mandurah, where you’ll have a coffee break at a café by the shore. Then it’s on to Bunbury where you’ll visit the Featured Wood Gallery & Museum, before continuing to Busselton, where you will stop for lunch.

Following lunch, take a leisurely walk along the famous Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere stretching 1.1 miles (1.8 km) out into the picturesque Geographe Bay.

After stretching your legs at the jetty, head to Margaret River. You’ll have some free time in town to stroll along the main street and pick up a special memento or gift to take home.

Next, head to the McLeod family farm to see Western Grey Kangaroos in their natural environment. Settle into your accommodation before taking a drive to the coast for spectacular views of world-class surf breaks.

On day 2, head for breakfast at The White Elephant café by the beach. Then spend the day tasting wine, craft beer, coffee, cheese, olive oil, and everyone’s favourite – chocolate.

Lunch will be at the award-winning Black Brewing Co, where you’ll also enjoy a crafted brew, or some lovely local wine. Return to your accommodation at around 5:00 PM to relax after a busy day and dine at your leisure.

After checkout on day 3, enjoy breakfast by the beach, before heading south to Redgate Beach, where you’ll hear stories of shipwrecks and other stories about the local area. The tour goes underground at the spectacular Mammoth Cave, one of just a few caves in the south west which contains fossils.

A scenic drive through the majestic Boranup Forest will bring you to the Boranup Gallery, showcasing beautiful and creative wood designs and furniture. Tea, coffee and scones can be purchased from the Boranup Gallery Café.

Then pass through Augusta, with stunning views of the Blackwood River, before arriving at the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Take a guided tour and spot the point where the Southern and Indian oceans meet. You may be lucky enough to spot whales out in the distance.

Stop for lunch and a tea or coffee at the Deck Chair Café in Augusta. After lunch, depart for your transfer back to Perth, arriving by approximately  6:00 PM.
