Join a relaxed 2-hour Japanese matcha workshop combined with ceramic painting in Sydney. Meet your host at the venue entrance and learn about ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, including where it comes from, how it is grown, and how to whisk it the traditional way with a bamboo whisk (chasen).
Prepare and taste your own bowl of matcha. Then, paint your own ceramic mug or matcha bowl with guided support from the host, choosing colors and designs freely. All painting materials are provided and no art experience is needed. Your finished hand-painted piece is yours to take home.
Sessions run on weekends in small groups at community venues across Sydney: Juanita Nielsen Community Centre (31 Nicholson St, Woolloomooloo), Woodcroft Neighbourhood Centre (65 Woodcroft Dr, Woodcroft), a creative studio in Willoughby (108 Penshurst St), and Welight Art Space in Chatswood (308 Victoria Ave).

Meet your NOA Matcha host inside Woodcroft Neighbourhood Centre. Look for the matcha and ceramic painting table set-up. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
