The mountains in the Salzkammergut are easy to reach with an e-mountain bike for average athletic guests. Our guides will definitely show you the most beautiful viewpoints and the most rustic alpine pastures.
Join us on a guided e-mountain bike tour to the alpine pastures of the Salzkammergut With the help of modern eMTBs, you can explore the mountains on wide gravel and forest roads – from the valley floors up to the high alpine pastures – and visit beautiful viewpoints, photo spots, and traditional alpine huts along the way.
The electric motor makes the climbs a lot easier, but just a heads up: this is a real mountain experience. You'll ride several ascents and descents on gravel roads, with a total of 900 to 1,400 meters of elevation gain and descent over a distance of 30–45 km – depending on the route, weather, and group. You'll need basic fitness and safe cycling skills, but no technical trail skills are required.
Heads up: Mountain weather can change fast. Even in summer, the temperature can drop to 5°C, and rain, wind, or sudden weather changes are possible. So, wearing the right clothes is super important for your safety – sturdy shoes, layers, and a windproof and waterproof jacket are a must.
Our certified, local guides are experienced eMTBers and experts in the region. They adjust the pace and route to the group's abilities, making sure the tour stays safe and fun. Along the way, you'll also learn some exciting stuff about the history, culture, and nature of the Salzkammergut.
This isn't a technical mountain bike trail tour, but a sporty and scenic alpine experience – perfect for active travelers who want to experience the real mountains by bike.
The tour is an outdoor mountain experience, so the weather and temperatures can vary. You'll get detailed weather info 1-3 days before the tour.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Heads up: You can only book up to 48 hours before the tour starts
• We require helmets. If you don't have your own helmet, you can borrow one from us
• The bikes are insured, with a deductible of EUR 200 per bike
• The tour kicks off and wraps up at our pop-up store: Wirtsweg 16, 4824 Gosau.
• You can cancel for free due to weather conditions until 6:00 pm the day before
• No alcohol during the whole tour
• The StVO (German Road Traffic Act) applies throughout the rental period
• Parents or guardians are responsible for underage participants

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
