The Residenz zu Salzburg, a central UNESCO World Heritage site, opens its state rooms for a unique musical experience.

The exclusive concert series "Date with Mozart" offers chamber music concerts at the original venue and brings the lost sounds of that time back to the historic rooms of the Residenz.

Immerse yourself in the world of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart and experience his music where he once worked! The Salzburg Residenz was the place where he composed for the prince archbishop's court musician and where he regularly performed himself.

The concerts thus offer not only a musical highlight, but also an exciting journey of discovery into the colorful courtly life of the 18th century.

What Mozart's music is to the ears, the state rooms are to the eyes. Both together offer a unique experience of space and sound that is second to none! A tailor-made presentation of Salzburg's glittering musical heritage - on which the festival idea is also based - at the original venue!

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
