In Hallstatt you have 2.5 hours free time for exploring the town. Walk along Lake Hallstatt, visit the museums and the famous "Bone House", which houses over 600 skulls and bones of Hallstatt citizens. You can also opt to take a funicular to the World Heritage View Platform "Skywalk” (visit takes about 1 hour)
On your way back we take a different route for more breathtaking scenery passing by Gosau and Abentau before arriving to Salzburg.

In Salzburg - at the point of departure - you switch and join to the only and only Original Sound of Musci Tour starting at 02:00 pm

Relive your favorite scenes from the classic musical "The Sound of Music" and following the traces of Julie Andrews. Visit filming sites around the city – while your guide provides historical background on Salzburg’s top attractions and architectural jewels of the UNSECO World Heritage Site.

During your 1.5 h city tour enjoy photo stops at Schloss Leopoldskron for the famous boating scene as well at the Original Sixteen Going on Seventeen Gazebo … before heading out to the beautiful Salzkammergut once again. But this time the tour takes you via St. Gilgen to Mondsee on a most scenic route along the Lake Mondsee.

Spend about 50 minutes in the picturesque little town visiting the famous Basilica St. Michael, where the wedding of Maria and Baron von Trapp was filmed. Explore during your free time some coffee house and make sure not to miss out on the apple strudel before returning to Salzburg
