Description

Discover Baku like never before with an experienced and certified tour guide with me! My name is Namiq, and I am passionate about showcasing the rich history, vibrant culture of Azerbaijan.
Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Azerbaijan’s vibrant capital. This immersive Baku City Tour blends modern elegance with ancient charm, giving you a deep and authentic taste of what makes this city so mesmerizing.

Your journey begins with a panoramic drive up to Highland Park, also known as Dagustu Park. As we ascend, you'll catch your first glimpses of Baku's stunning skyline and the shimmering Caspian Sea. At the top, we pause to take in unparalleled views over the city, including the iconic Flame Towers, the historical Inner City, and the expansive Boulevard stretching along the waterfront. This is the perfect spot for unforgettable photographs and a brief overview of the city’s past and present from your knowledgeable guide.

From there, we continue down to Baku Boulevard, one of the longest promenades in the world. You’ll feel the fresh sea breeze as we walk along the Caspian coast, surrounded by lush greenery, fountains, and public art installations. You’ll also see attractions like the Carpet Museum, shaped like a rolled-up rug, and the Little Venice, where gondolas float past charming cafés. This peaceful stroll is a true sensory delight.

The tour then transports you back in time as we enter Icherisheher – the Old City. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a living museum filled with cobbled streets, gates, caravanserais, medieval mosques, and hammams. You'll explore the Maiden Tower, shrouded in mystery and legend, and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, a masterpiece of 15th-century architecture. As your guide explains the significance of each site, you'll feel like you've stepped into a different era.

Next, we’ll guide you through the vibrant art and souvenir lanes, where local craftsmen showcase their handmade jewelry, ceramics, carpets, and copperware. This is your chance to experience traditional Azerbaijani culture up close and perhaps take home a unique keepsake.

Afterward, the tour takes you to Fountains Square and Nizami Street, the buzzing commercial hub of modern Baku. Nizami Street is famous for its European-style architecture, designer boutiques, and cozy cafés. As we walk along this pedestrian avenue, you’ll witness the contrast between ancient Baku and its contemporary lifestyle.

Throughout the experience, I will share fascinating stories, legends, and insider tips, making this more than just a sightseeing tour – it’s an engaging cultural exchange.
