How you go to Leshan Buddha site on your own? Sugget you take taxi to Chengdu Dong station成都东站， buy bullet train ticket( every 15 mins one trian to Leshan) to Leshan station乐山站, change taxi to Giant Buddha乐山大佛（roudntrip cost around:150RMB depends on the distance of your hotel.(all transportation cost is on you own)
If you book our private tour to both Panda Base and Giant Buddha with guide and transfer, you will meet your private guide and driver in Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning. Follow your guide, you can optional catch earlier morning visit Sun Breeding area and Moon Breeding area to see panda babies while them take breakfast, afterward see adult pandas and very popular pandas play together when they are most energetic morning time, learn interesting panda story related to habitat , walking through pass the museum and bamboo forest.
Then heading directly to Leshan Giant Buddha(approx.2.5 hours), relax on the way and enjoy beautiful countryside view.Leshan Giant Buddha is begun construction from the year 713 in the Tang Dynasty, and finished in the year 803, the statue took people more than 90 years to carve. During these years, thousands of workers had expended their efforts and wisdom on the project. As the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world, the Giant Buddha is featured in poetry, song and story. You will view Buddha from different view if follow your tour guide.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
