09:20 – Meet a Bhutanese Artisan
Meet your artisan and discover the story behind Bhutan’s traditional arts and crafts. Learn how these skills have been passed down through generations.

10:00 – Watch the Craft Demonstration
See how the artisan works using traditional techniques. Depending on availability, the session may focus on painting, wood carving, bamboo work, weaving, or handmade paper.

10:30 – Create Your Own Souvenir
Now it’s your turn. With step-by-step guidance from the artisan, try the technique yourself and create a small Bhutanese-inspired handmade item. No previous experience is required.

12:30 – Finish Your Creation
Complete your handmade souvenir and take a moment to appreciate the work you have created yourself.

13:00 – Local Tea & Artisan Conversation
Enjoy a cup of tea or a light local refreshment while talking with the artisan about their craft, traditions and everyday life.

13:45 – Local Craft Area Visit
If time permits, take a short walk through a nearby craft area or local market to see other Bhutanese handmade products.

14:30 – Return to Hotel
Travel back to your hotel with your personally made Bhutanese souvenir and memories of meeting a local craftsperson.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
