Description

Start your day with stories and street food that matter. You’ll walk through a morning market, taste four local favorites, and support the women who feed the city.
We start at the historic Alcaldía plaza, the heart of La Paz, where your guide will welcome you to a morning full of authentic tastes and local stories.

Our first stop is to try the famous salteñas — savory Bolivian pastries — followed by the delicious rellenos de papa made by the woman featured on Netflix’s Street Food. These snacks are more than food; they are a taste of tradition and pride.

Next, we head to a lively local market to enjoy fresh, tangy tumbo juice, a signature Andean fruit drink that wakes up your senses.

Afterward, we take the iconic cable car to El Alto, where the cityscape opens up before you. There, we enjoy a warm bowl of sopa de fideo, a comforting pasta with peanut, it is not a soup just pasta with beaf or tortilla on top.

To finish the tour, we descend back into the city and end near the San Pedro prison, where you’ll taste a traditional “quita penas” ice cream — a sweet, local remedy to lift your spirits and close the morning with a smile.

Throughout the walk, your guide will share stories of the women who prepare these dishes, the markets that feed La Paz, and the culture behind every bite.

This isn’t just breakfast — it’s a journey through La Paz’s soul.
