From La Paz: 5-Day Uyuni and Red Lagoon Tour with Bus Ride

Embark on a thorough trip to the natural wonders of Bolivia, such as deserts, geysers, and hot springs. Take an overnight bus from La Paz to explore the Uyuni Salt Flats, the Red Lagoon, and more.
DAY 1
Go to the “Todo Turismo” office at 8:30 p.m. for the check-in, then bus departures at 9:00 p.m.
Inside the bus, enjoy the service of Dinner, Breakfast, Bottled Water, 1 Hot Drink, Heating, Toilet, Blanket, Wi-Fi and First Aid Kit.

DAY 2
Arrive in Uyuni City at 7:30 a.m.
Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water, and more.
(we have FREE TIME because all tour companies and tourist points are available from 10:30 a.m.)
then go to our office 10:00 a.m.

Start your tour at 10:30 a.m.
The first stop is the haunting "Train Graveyard’, which is found on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops next to the salt flats), there, also find handicrafts made of salt, and textile art manufactured of llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to bring back home.

Lunch will be served around midday along the way.

Then Visit Uyuni Salt Flats: *Salt water eyes *A Salt hotel-museum, *Flags of the world (Where you can bring yours and put there for free) and a Monument of Dakar racing.

Following, have time to take a hike to the top of the Incahuasi island to see giant cacti, and rock formations made of petrified coral.

Next, take time to organize your group for fun perspective photos, set on the blinding white surface of the salt flats, playing around with the scene, you can be sure to take some funny and memorable shots!

Stay 1st Night: Agencha Hostel: Shared 3-beds, 4-beds, 5-beds, and 6-bed rooms + Shared toilets. / no Wi-Fi

DAY 3
Start at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast.
First stop, Chiguana Desert on Uyuni salt flats Southside, surrounded by volcanoes such as Ollagüe, which is still active and can be seen from the lookout point.
Then, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota Lagoons in which flamingoes can be seen.
After Lunch, enter “Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve”, visit the Desert of Siloli (the highest and driest in the world), and take a picture next to the ‘Rock tree’ (a lava rock formation), Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat.

Stay 2nd Night: Huayllajara Hostel, shared 6-bed rooms + Shared Toilets / no hot water for showers (to avoid pollution in the National Reserve) / no Wi-Fi

DAY 4
Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling mud pots. then, have the opportunity to take a bath in an open air Hot Springs at a 35 Cº water.

The next places: Dali Desert, Green and White Lagoon

Then return to Uyuni, enjoying picturesque scenery along the way and having a picnic lunch by the roadside.

Arrive in Uyuni town from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
Then, head to the Bus Office on your own by 8:30 p.m.
Departure Bus from Uyuni to La Paz 9:00 p.m.

DAY 5
Arrive at La Paz City between 6:15 a.m. to 6:35 a.m.
The finish point of the tour: Main Bus Station in La Paz City.
