5-Day Uyuni Salt Flats Journey from La Paz
Travel from La Paz to Uyuni by overnight VIP bus and explore the spectacular Salt Flats and Bolivian Altiplano on a 3-day 4WD adventure through lagoons, volcanoes, deserts, geysers, and unique Andean landscapes.
Day 1 – VIP Bus from La Paz to Uyuni
Check in at the bus office in La Paz at approximately 8:30 p.m. and depart at 9:00 p.m. Travel overnight with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, onboard restroom, polar blanket, dinner, and breakfast. Meal options include chicken, vegetarian, and gluten-free.
Day 2 – Uyuni Salt Flats & Incahuasi Island
Arrive in Uyuni between approximately 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. Our staff will meet you and, depending on your arrival time, take you to a nearby café before continuing to our office.
Depart by 4WD at approximately 10:30 a.m. Visit the Train Cemetery and Colchani before entering the Uyuni Salt Flats. Explore Playa Blanca, the Dakar Monument, Flags of the World, and Incahuasi Island. Enjoy creative photos and a sunset with wine and snacks. Dinner and overnight in a salt hostel.
Day 3 – Andean Lagoons & Red Lagoon
Cross the Chiguana Desert and admire Ollagüe Volcano. Visit Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota Lagoons before continuing through the Siloli Desert to the Stone Tree and spectacular Red Lagoon. Dinner and overnight in Huayllajara or Polques.
Day 4 – Geysers, Hot Springs & Overnight Bus
Begin early at the Sol de Mañana Geysers, relax at Polques Hot Springs, cross the Dalí Desert, and visit the Green and White Lagoons beneath Licancabur Volcano.
Return to Uyuni at approximately 5:00–6:00 p.m. Later, check in at the bus office at approximately 8:30 p.m. and depart at 9:00 p.m. aboard your overnight VIP bus to La Paz. Travel comfortably with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, onboard restroom, polar blanket, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 5 – Arrival in La Paz
Arrive in La Paz at approximately 6:00–6:30 a.m., where your 5-day journey comes to an end.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
