Escape La Paz and trek across Death Road on a full-day mountain biking tour. Enjoy a double suspension bike, lunch, and a local guide while taking in the sights of La Cumbre, Corico, and Yolosa.
The mountain biking tour to Coroico starts early in the morning from La Paz city. Then go by transport to “La Cumbre” (1hr. from La Paz), which is the starting point at 4.700 m.a.s.l.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Leg 1: This is a 22 km downhill on asphalt (tarmac) road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists pay Bs. 50 for the entrance to the national park. This first section is for you to develop confidence and get used to the bike. Do not worry, the safety van is always behind the group and we have stops for water, photos and bike checks.
Leg2: “Death Road” about 10 Km. always in a compact group (safety first!!!) and also snack time with chocolate, fruit, and more.
Leg 3: About 32 Km. it starts with a waterfall splash!! Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa, so the next stop is in a hotel with showers, a swimming pool, and a lunch as well. At approximately 05:00 p.m. it´s time to go back to La Paz driving through the new road.

Arrive at 7:30 a.m. at the main gate of "Hamburguesas Toby" in Plaza del Estudiant. The guide will arrive with the bikes and car. They will share their credentials and call your name.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
