Discover Sucre's urban gardens, meet local families, learn about composting, and enjoy a vegetarian lunch made with fresh, organic ingredients.
Enjoy an authentic experience outside Sucre's historic center by discovering local life through its urban gardens. We will start our adventure in the city center, then take local buses to outlying neighborhoods where families are developing urban agriculture projects.
We will visit four houses, each with its own garden. The families will explain to you their techniques for recycling, composting, and growing organic vegetables. You will learn how they produce their own food in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way, while also supporting their family economy.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with the residents, gain a better understanding of their daily lives, and, if you wish, take part in small activities in the gardens.
At the end of the tour, we will share a homemade vegetarian lunch prepared using organic, fresh produce harvested on-site. The meal includes soup, a main course, and a natural drink. After this convivial experience, we will return to downtown together on a local bus.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
