Day 1: Uyuni Salt Flats & Incahuasi Island
Your 3-day expedition begins with pickup from hotels within Uyuni city, Uyuni Airport upon flight arrival, or the Uyuni Bus Terminal upon your arrival. After a short briefing, your adventure starts at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the historic Train Cemetery before continuing to the traditional village of Colchani. Enter the spectacular Uyuni Salt Flats and visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, the Salt Hotel Museum, the Flags of the World, and the Dakar Monument. Continue to Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and ancient coral formations. Capture creative perspective photographs before ending the day with a breathtaking sunset while enjoying wine and snacks. Overnight in a traditional salt hostel.
Day 2: Colored Lagoons & Red Lagoon
Travel across the Chiguana Desert and admire the Ollagüe Volcano before visiting the colorful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota, home to hundreds of flamingos. Continue through the Siloli Desert, stop at the famous Stone Tree, and finish the day at the spectacular Red Lagoon. Overnight in a mountain hostel.
Day 3: Geysers, Hot Springs & Return to Uyuni
Depart early to visit the Sol de Mañana Geysers before relaxing in the Polques Hot Springs. Continue through the Dalí Desert and admire the Green and White Lagoons beneath the Licancabur Volcano before returning to Uyuni. Arrive between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day expedition.
