Description

Visit 3 sites of natural and historical beauty while learning about the local way of life in Bosnia and Herzegovina from your guide.
We created this tour with one goal in mind: to teach people about the culture, traditions, history and overall way of life in Bosnia and Herzegovina from your professional guide while exploring its natural and historical beauties.

It's an all in one tour for anyone who wants to learn about the mentality and way of life of our people and visit a few of our many wondrous sites in just 7 hours. We pick you up at your location in Mostar, then we go visit 3 stops:

1. Blagaj, a place of unique natural and architectural beauty, but also a bundle of historically important sites
Blagaj, at the source of the Buna river is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Bosnia and Hercegovina. The Ottoman old town and its Tekke in Blagaj are made even more beautiful by the source of the Buna river (largest freshwater source in Europe) which it was built around as well as a few more surprises...

Activities for your free time (may include additional costs):
• Walk around, there are lots of unique buildings
• The Tekke (entrance fee is 5e/10KM per person)
• Many traditional restaurants to try
• Take a boat tour inside the cave (only during summer)
• Feed the local orange cat that constantly wants food and attention

2. Počitelj; a scenic Ottoman old town on a side of a hill
Only 200 years ago it was a thriving and rich town, now an authentic Ottoman historical site with only a few reconstructions. It takes you back to the Ottoman days. A beautiful historical site overrun by the traditional fruit, pomegranates.
Activities for your free time (may include additional costs):

• Explore the scenic roads and visit 3 points of interest:
1. A fort at the top of this town
2. A vantage point overlooking the whole town
3. An old Ottoman tower with a beautiful courtyard
• The 11 people in total still living here set up shops with traditional pomegranate juice, dried figs and lots of other local snacks
• Caffees and restaurants in the unesco protected Ottoman buildings

3. Kravica Waterfall:
A stunning site of natural beauty. A large area full of unreal looking scenes straight from your dreams. Hang around and go swimming in main area where the waterfall is located, with lots of restaurants, ice cream stands...; a real resort (during the summer). If you're adventurous you can get lots in the mesmerizing nature surrounding the main area.

Activities for your free time (may include additional costs):
• Fully immerse yourself in the aquatic beauty of the waterfall and its surrounding area
• Take boat rides that let you have an up-close view of the waterfall
• Check out the paths that lead you through nature (one even leads to a second, smaller waterfall!)

After this you are dropped off at the location of your choosing within or near Mostar.

NOTE: This tour is different during summer compared to winter due to the changing water levels in Blagaj and at the Kravica Waterfall.
