Enjoy a cooking class and learn how to prepare traditional Cambodian food in the hinterlands of Phnom Penh. Head to the local market with your guide in a village that is not frequented by tourists, and create some delicious dishes.

Make your own way to the class by taking a ferry and tuk-tuk from Phnom Penh to Arey Ksat where you meet your guide. Then head into the local market to learn about Cambodian produce and buy ingredients. At the market, your guide will explain how to select the best local produce.

Back at the meeting point, start preparing a signature local Khmer dish, Chicken Amok. Learn about local life, cuisine, and traditions as you hone your cooking skills. Then, sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Your guide will then drop you back at the ferry port.

Please take the public ferry from Phnom Penh Ferry Station (near NagaWorld Casino) to Areyksat at 4.00PM. It runs every 5 minutes and takes 15 minutes to cross. We will be waiting at the other side (Areyksat Ferry Dock) to start our cooking journey.
Take the ferry to Arey Ksat at 4:00 PM. You can then take a tuk-tuk to the meeting point, at the "Meet The Province" location.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
