This electric bike tour will take you to wineries and a chocolate factory in Ile d'Orleans, 15 minutes from Old Quebec. You'll get the chance to taste local products and cycle with ease thanks to the E-bikes.
Meet your local tour guide at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the island's bridge. Upon arrival, you'll receive detailed safety introduction and the chance to try the electric bikes in the parking lot. Your small group will follow the guide along the sidewalk of Chemin Royal, as there is no bike path on Ile d'Orleans. The tour is about 20 km and will take about 3 hours, taking you to the island's most beautiful village, St. Petronille.
The first stop is the Gosselin farm. You'll taste the famous Strawberries of Ile d'Orleans and learn about local agriculture. You'll then visit the gardens of Charles E. L. Porteous' French manor, built in 1898. Your guide will underline the important role this building played through history.
Heading further, you'll reach St.Petronille with its picturesque streets. At the Chocolaterie, in the village's heart, take a break from cycling and stroll on the St.Lawrence River's banks instead, enjoying the fantastic view of Quebec's skyline and ice cream dipped in home-made chocolate! Back on the bikes, take advantage of the powerful engine getting on top of the street, where the St. Petronille winery is waiting for you. Here, you can taste some of the island's best wines.
On the way back, we'll enjoy beautiful perspectives of the St. Lawrence River and the Montmorency waterfalls. Be sure to take plenty of faboulous pictures. You'll leave beautiful Ile d'Orleans with great memories of an active day.

• The electric bikes are shaped like a fat bike, with large tires and a heavy frame, giving more stability on the road. Electric assistance supports you, allowing you to reach speeds of up to 24 km/h.
• You should know how to ride a regular bike and should be tall enough to fit on an adult's bike.
• Ile d'Orleans has no bike paths. We'll ride on the road's large and safe shoulder.

Please make sure to arrive 30 min in advance or phone Quebec Aventure Tours to let them know you'll be late.
There is a shuttle bus from the Old Québec to the Motel Ile d'Orleans.
This service is offered by Quebec Bus Tours. Please book separately with them and let Quebec Aventure Tours know you'll arrive by shuttle bus. The shuttle's schedule is coordinated with the tour's schedule.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
