Your professional local guide with start with introductions and a brief overview of the tour itself. One of the best parts of these tours is meeting new friends and other like-minded travelers from around the world. After a short story about William Berczy or another relevant topic within the tour, you'll head East towards St. Lawrence District.

One aspect that sets our tours apart is the freedom our guides have with the structure of the tour to personalize each story or location to enhance the experience with their own expertise or passions.

After a short walk we'll round the corner to the beautiful architecture of the Gooderham Building. The 100 year old building is in the iconic flatiron style and wows travelers. Your guide will bring it's history to life including why and where it's situated within the Greater Toronto area. Your guide will travel north into Old Toronto.

Here, you'll hear tales of how the city got it's name, and what it could possibly mean. You'll see impressive architecture from gothic, to modern, to art deco. Enjoy hidden courtyards within the skyscrapers that will remind you how nice it is to be with a knowledgeable guide.

The next stop is right before going underground. The tour will enter the P.A.T.H, Toronto's underground network of public streets that protect us from the elements and intrigue the tourist to know more about the 30 kilometers of restaurants, shopping, services and entertainment. We'll take the underground for a few blocks to avoid traffic and see some highlights of the system.

We pop up from below right near Toronto's Old City Hall, where prime storytelling meets epic architecture which makes for the perfect photo op before walking across the street to Nathan Phillips Square. Here, you'll have an opportunity to take a short break, use the washroom, fill up your water bottle, and take the iconic Toronto sign picture.

After a short break we walk to University Ave and round the corner to the Campbell House Museum. This house is the oldest house in Toronto, built in the old town of York and moved to this site in the mid 1900's to remember to noble work of Sir Justice Campbell. We continue to John Street where along the way you will be subject to incredible views of the CN Tower.

John Street is the Entertainment District so you may want to poke your guide for a few recommendations while you walk. You'll arrive at David Pecaut Square where you will hear the amazing story of a Canadian hero, Terry Fox. This heart warming story will put a pep in your step to bring you to Union Station, Toronto central transit hub and iconic building.

The tour will end right back at Berczy Park where you can make further plans with newfound friends and tip your guide for the terrific experience.
