Description
Set sail on a full-day cruise along the western coast of Sal. Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch, unlimited soft drinks, beer, and wine, and the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters.
Set sail on a 6-hour cruise, admiring the western coast of Sal, from Santa Maria Bay to Mount Lion, passing by Ponta Sino, Ponta Preta, Murdeira Bay, and Cotton Bay.
Be enchanted by the thousands of colors of the water, changing from deep dark blue to emerald colors at the anchoring site, until becoming transparent close to the extremely white sand. Keep your camera ready to capture wildlife, such as dolphins, pilot whales, and flying fish.
Spot humpback whales (March-mid May) and turtles (summer) during their respective breeding and mating/hatching seasons.
At the anchorage point, a freshly cooked lunch will be served: get delighted by our Oceanic whole meal, fresh yellow fin tuna steak with rice and vegetables, cooked on the boat for you! After that, there will be time for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing before heading back to the departure point.
Enjoy soft drinks, beer, white and rosé wine, and a light snack, served all day long. Feel the wind in the sails as the adventure ends with the last chat around the cockpit with the captain and crew, offering you a final surprise.

Activity is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled or canceled with prior notice.
Please meet at least 15 minutes prior departure to Cabo Verde Diving Center: our staff in Cuba Libre Sailing white polos will welcome you and proceed with check in. We do not offer transfer to/from the activity.
In case of adverse weather conditions we reserve the right to move departure point or to cancel.

- Hotel pickup and drop-off
- We do not offer pick up: Sal is a very small island and you will find plenty of taxis from your hotel to the departure point.
- Departure point could be changed according to the weather conditions. We reserve the right to change it last minute in case of adverse weather. If the trip is still possible we will offer alternative options and we will be there at the meeting spot to explain you the variations.
- Snorkeling and swimming are only possible if the skipper allows that: especially in winter time, current could be very strong. Visibility conditions for snorkeling are not always the best: always follow the skipper's advice, keep in mind this is the Atlantic Ocean.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
